TRAVELING ABROAD
If you’re thinking of traveling abroad, a trip over seas is more economical than you think. The cost of this trip (including airfare) was approximately the same as five nights at a moderate Mexican resort, five days at Walt Disney World, or a six day Caribbean cruise. Give me a call and give it a try! I urge you to venture out and experience an incredible journey. You will come away fulfilled and satisfied that you stepped out of your comfort zone to enrich your lives.
PARIS, FRANCE
Wow, what a great year 2006 was! I was fortunate enough to enjoy two visits abroad. In March, I went to Rome and Florence, Italy. My second opportunity came in December, when I had the pleasure of touring the cities of Paris and London. I can assure you, that as an American tourist, you are welcome in these countries. We were always treated kindly.
Ahhhh Paris. What can I say except “c’est un tres beau la ville” (what a beautiful city).

Bonjour from top of the Eiffel Tower. |
I spent several years taking French class in high school and college and it finally paid off. I must admit my French was as rusty as their English, but it was quite entertaining. When ordering in the restaurants I spoke French, the wait-staff practiced their English. We had a great time trying to communicate and they appreciated the effort on our part.

| Notre-Dame, it was quite spectacular to be in such a beautiful cathedral. |
At a Paris Bistro, I attempted to recall four years of French, not successfully. |
We started by taking the Euro Star for a two hour ride from London, under the English Channel, to Paris. We drove down the Champs-Elysees, to the Arch de Triomphe, strolled past Le Louvre (where the Mona Lisa can be seen) took a boat ride down the Seine River. We spent several hours enjoying the view of the city from the Eiffel Tower. We shopped and walked the city, dined at a bistro, and enjoyed “beaucoup le vine rouge” (lots of red wine) We toured the Notre-Dame Cathedral, which was made famous, in part by the story of the Hunchback of Notre Dame. I can’t wait to go back to France!

LONDON, ENGLAND
I now understand the term “quite proper” when referring to the English. The country prides itself on being polite and I experienced this to the fullest. London is a city with old British traditions but they are also very progressive and trendy.

ITALY
My dream vacation became a reality!

Bonjourna!
The history and culture of Italy is a "must see," I can't wait to go back!!
In March, I had the absolute pleasure of visiting the beautiful country of Italy. I went with a group of 20 travel agents from all over the United States who wanted to fullfill a dream of traveling to Italy. We spent five nights in Rome and two nights in Florence. It had been my top destination to visit "some day".
My husband adjusted his full time work schedule to look after our two children so "Mommy could go to work." Let me say that this was the most incredible week ever. I was in complete "AWE" at the sights, sounds, and culture of Italy. In Rome, I stood in the Roman Coliseum, threw a penny in the Trevi Fountain, toured the
Vatican and Sistine Chapel (no, I didn't
see the pope.) In Florence, I stood in front of the enormous Statue of David, and walked the steps of the Duomo. If you are considering a trip to Italy, please give me a call: 920-339-3295 or Toll-Free: 866-275-2968.

We had a formal dinner
in a very old wine cellar, one long table. Wine cellars are
commonly used for formal affairs. It is a privilege to be
invited and attend a formal event. |
We visited another
wine cellar, located in Florence. The spiral stair cases were
unique. I found it was a challenge to go up and down the
narrow staircase.
